June 1st is National Go Barefoot Day! Feeling the summer heat?
! It's National Go Barefoot Day! Embrace the beginning of the summer season and join people across the country in this shoe-free celebration.
National Go Barefoot Day was launched by a non-profit organization called Soles4Souls. The real purpose behind this quirky holiday is to encourage people to donate new and used shoes to the victims of natural disasters. Take a moment to do a little spring cleaning and give away the shoes you no longer need. You can even organize a shoe drive in your community.
