August 14th is National Creamsicle DayWhat’s better than ice cream on a hot summer day? How about a Creamsicle on a hot summer day?

, but nowadays, you can now find this frozen treat in blue raspberry, lime, grape, cherry and even blueberry.

It’s not hard to find Creamsicles, but they’re also pretty easy to make at home. First, mix together fruit juice and vanilla ice cream in a large bowl. Then, gradually add milk and continue to mix.

Finally, pour the mixture into small paper cups and place them in the freezer. Stick in some a Popsicle stick once the cups are partially frozen then put them back in the freezer. When they’re frozen solid, peel off the paper cups and enjoy! Here’s a more specific recipe so you can beat the heat with a delicious treat.

August 13th is International Lefthander's Day! Did you know left-handed people use the right side of their brain, and right-handed people use the left side of their brain? Therefore, only left-handed people are in their right mind. HA!

But seriously, left-handed people can surely appreciate a day dedicated to them – after all, many lefties have to struggle with things their right-handed counterparts have never encountered. For example, spiral notebooks, video game controllers, and can-openers are all made with righties in mind.

and when you see a list of some famous lefties, you’ll surely be impressed. So take time to appreciate the lefty in your life today.
