Today is the perfect day to give yourself a sweet treat! Fudge is made with sugar, milk, butter and your favorite flavoring. Popular choices range from chocolate to peanut butter to peppermint and marshmallow..
Chocolate is one of the most common flavors, but back in the day fudge used to be totally chocolate-less. What we call fudge evolved from a candy called the Scottish Tablet, which came to popularity in the 17th century.
To celebrate National Fudge day, make some yourself, or head over to your favorite chocolate shop ad get a box to share.
