June 15th is Nature Photography Day!

Nature Photography Day started 10 years by the North American Nature Photography Association, or the NANPA. The organization made this holiday to promote appreciation of this art form, and show how a powerful picture can be used to protect plants and wildlife.

Today is the perfect day to take out your camera and explore. You can go to a park, forest, hiking, or even just to your own backyard and enjoy the nature around you. The NANPA is even hosting events and contests on their website if you want to get involved on the next level!
