One worker was reportedly up 100 feet in the boom at the time.

A scary scene on Sandra Drive in North Greenbush Monday afternoon. A large utility truck flipped over and landed on the roof of a home. News 10 spoke to the homeowner Robert Shappy, who said he hired the company to take down some trees in his yard.

He believes one of the legs of the truck was planted hear the home's septic system. As the boom was raised about one hundred feet, the leg sank into the ground, causing the crane truck to turn over and land on the house. Shappy says there was a worker was in the boom at the time, who came down with the crane but miraculously wasn't injured in the fall.

I said, 'any broken bones or anything like that?' [He said] 'No, no I'm ok.

Power has been cut to the home while emergency crews try to clean up the scene and assess the damage, something that could take days.

Shappy and his wife were home at the time, but neither were hurt.
