The new spot has been a decade in the making for DeFazio's!

First of all, if you've never been do DeFazio's in Troy then you need to make the trip to Troy and check it out. The good news for you is that getting a table is about to get easier!

The famous DeFazio's in Troy is set to open their new location just a block and a half North of their current location on 4th St. The Grand Opening of the new location, where the old Vanilla Bean was, is this Wednesday, February 5th! Granted, some people have been able to check out the new space the past few weeks, by invite only, for their "soft opening" but now the place is ready to be open to the public.

The new location for DeFazio's will have the following hours -

Wednesday and Thursday - 4pm to 8:30pm

Friday and Saturday from 4pm-9:30pm

The bar will be open a little later on those days however the actual hours will be dictated by the business. Please keep in mind that they are closed Sunday through Tuesday. On top of the new place, the original pizzeria and import store will remain open at 264-266 Fourth Street during their normal business hours.

DeFazio's will begin taking reservations for their Grand Opening on the morning of February 5th at Resy.com

For what it's worth, the original location is one of Dave Portnoy's favorite pizza spots in The Capital Region, giving it a 8.2 when he reviewed their pizza back in 2021. Let's not even get started on the Italian Hangover cake that they serve!
