June 8th is National Best Friends Day! You don’t get to meet a new best friend every day, but when you do they make your life all the better. Today is an excuse to celebrate the one who can turn your frown upside down.
Friends are for everyone, not just humans. According to many scientists, even animals like to find a best friend. Friends can make you happy, and they even give you health benefits.
, and in the long run, help you live longer.
To honor your friend, you can send them a card, buy them a treat, or make special plans to hang out together. Whatever you do, make sure you thank them for all the times they have been by your side!
