Police warn to be on the lookout, but do not approach him
Update 3/8 10:58am: New York State Police say Morgan has been located and is in custody.
New York State Police in Middletown are searching for Christopher R. Morgan, a psychiatric patient who escaped from Garnet Health Medical Center earlier today.
Morgan ran off from the facility at approximately 2:39 p.m. and was last seen wearing a white jacket (pictured below).
Authorities warn the public: do not approach him. If you see Morgan or have any information on his whereabouts, call State Police Middletown at (845) 344-5300 immediately.
State Police are actively working to locate Morgan and urge residents to remain vigilant. Stay alert, share this information, and call if you have any leads.
