Your donations help Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple's SHIP program
Wow, just WOW. We want to thank you for your generosity during the month of February. For the first time, the Albany Broadcasting group of radio stations teamed up with Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple and KC Entities Roofing & Siding to collect and deliver essential items needed for those who have fallen on hard times and need help getting back on their feet. And you did not disappoint!
On Thursday March 6th, all items collected were donated to Sheriff Apple's SHIP program. SHIP is the Sheriff's Homeless Improvement Program. An innovative initiative that repurposes available space within the Albany County Correctional and Rehabilitative Services Center to provide transitional housing for homeless individuals. The program offers them a safe and structured environment to help them rebuild their lives. It serves men, women, and children by connecting them with vital services and resources to facilitate a successful transition to permanent housing.
Thank you for opening your heart and getting behind this new initiative in a major way!
