Cohoes’ Summer Concert Series Returns June 18th!

The City of Cohoes is turning up the volume once again with the return of its beloved Rock the Block Summer Concert Series, bringing eight weeks of free live music to the heart of downtown. Held Thursday evenings from 6:30–8:30p at Canal Square, this lively community tradition runs from June 18 through August 6, 2026, offering residents and visitors a perfect way to unwind with great music, food, and company. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and settle in for an evening of entertainment, with food and beverages available for purchase on-site. Please note that coolers and outside alcohol are not permitted, and a valid photo ID is required for beverage purchases. With an exciting mix of local favorites and tribute acts, Rock the Block promises another unforgettable summer in Cohoes—completely free to attend.
