Get Your Irish On: New Pub to Open in Latham

A familiar spot is currently being remodeled

Remember Jessica Stone's in Latham? For about 40 years it was a staple along route 9 attached to the OTB. It quietly closed in the fall of 2025. However, according to Steve Barnes at the Times Union, an existing bar owner down the road has big plans for the former tavern.

Philly Bar & Grill owner Rocky Patel has leased the former Jessica Stones, with plans to transform the establishment into an Irish pub called Mulligan's.

The interior is getting a complete renovation, which will take some time. Patel hopes the new bar will be ready to go by late summer or early fall. Philly Bar & Grill GM Tarah LaFalce will manage both locations. Mulligan's is expected to be open daily from 11am-midnight with a full bar and traditional Irish fare.
