Golden Oldies - La La Brooks

LaLa Brooks is best known as the original lead singer of the legendary 1960s girl group The Crystals. As a teenager, her powerful voice helped drive some of the group’s biggest hits, including “Da Doo Ron Ron” and “Then He Kissed Me,” both produced by famed music producer Phil Spector during the height of the Wall of Sound era.
