Get ready to paint the city green at the 75th annual Albany St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 14 at 2 PM in Albany! One of the longest-running parades in the United States, this beloved St. Patrick's Day tradition brings together families from across New York’s Capital Region to celebrate Irish culture and heritage. Expect a lively afternoon filled with the sounds of incredible pipe bands, the energy of talented Irish step dancers, and colorful floats created by local Irish organizations—all marching through downtown in a festive celebration you won’t want to miss.
Families can also enjoy extra fun at the Paint the Town Green Kids Zone, presented by the City of Albany and M&T Bank. Located at the corner of State and Pearl Streets from noon to 4 PM, the Kids Zone offers a family-friendly spot to keep the celebration going on parade day. When the festivities wrap up, adults can continue the celebration later that evening at the official Paint the Town Green After Party (21+) from 6–8 PM at Lost & Found.
