Last weekend we celebrated the opening of Snowman in Troy as a sure sign that Spring was right around the corner! This weekend we get to celebrate the return of Guptill's Ice Cream in Latham! Okay, the weather won't be in the 60's but on Saturday it is expected to be sunny and in the mid 40's. Good enough for ice cream in my book! March is always a rollercoaster ride when it comes to the weather, 70's one day and 30's the next, but this rollercoaster is a sure sign that we're moving closer and closer to the start of Spring. Just yesterday I had the return of some Robins and Red-winged Blackbirds in my yard. They've come back from their winter vacation and are ready to set up home again here in the Capital Region! So get the ice cream, listen for the birds and prepare, because Spring is really only nine days away!
