Recognize the arena?
A movie that filmed scenes in Albany in 2023 will debut in theaters this October. The trailer for Smile 2, which shot concert scenes at the MVP Arena, dropped on Tuesday.
The horror flick stars Naomi Scott, a pop singer running from a supernatural force that manifests as a creepy smile - often from fans or her crew.
In addition to Albany, filming also took place in Newburg, Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls and NYC.
The release is scheduled for October 18th.
