Sly is now safe, dry, and recovering thanks to rescue efforts from SSPD

In an unexpected turn of events, officers from the Saratoga Springs Police Department (SSPD) responded to a call about a horse, Sly, that had fallen through the ice. Officers Kyle Clinton, Kris Camarro, and Dom Martuscello, all experienced horse enthusiasts, swiftly arrived at the scene to assist. Their prompt and coordinated efforts, in collaboration with the community, ensured Sly's safe rescue. The SSPD shared their experience on Facebook, emphasizing the importance of community and their commitment to protecting all Saratogians, whether they have two legs or four.
