Could be a messy ride home

Although not a lot expected in terms of accumulation, just a little bit of snow and ice could make for a slower than usual ride home Tuesday night. The National Weather Service says the Capital Region can expect to see snow begin falling late Tuesday afternoon. It will pick up a bit Tuesday night into Wednesday, changing over to freezing rain Wednesday morning. About 1-2 inches is expected.

Some areas may have to deal with icy roads, mostly west of Albany.
