Shots Fired at New York State Police Barracks in Malta

On Thursday evening, New York State Police held a press conference to discuss the shooting

State Police issued a statement on Facebook about the shooting. 

New York State Police responded to an alleged shots fired incident at the New York State Police Saratoga Barracks in Malta. The incident occurred around 1:43 p.m., and an investigation is ongoing. State Route 9 between State Route 67 and Saratoga Village Boulevard is closed as authorities investigate. Click here for the latest traffic updates.
