Shocking Act of Vandalism: Fire Truck Damaged at Cohoes Fire Station

Uniform Fire Fighters of Cohoes, IAFF Local #2562 via Facebook

Why?

For the second time in 8 days, someone damaged the Cohoes Central Fire Station. According to the Uniform Fire Fighters of Cohoes, IAFF Local #2562 on Facebook, someone threw a brick through the front window in the early hours of July 3rd. Then on Thursday, one of the department's front line trucks had its windshield smashed.

In a statement on Facebook, the union is asking for help in tracking down the vandal:

Smashing the windshield in our front line apparatus takes this truck out of service.

Both instances are very disheartening and concerning that someone would feel it is ok to do this……..

If anyone saw anything or hears anything - PLEASE reach out the Cohoes Police Department.
