Sheila E. Playing a Free Show in Albany this Summer

Don't miss the Queen of Percussion!

A musical savant since the age of five, Sheila E. rose to fame collaborating with Prince in the 1980's. In 1984 she debuted her solo album 'The Glamorous Life', - the title track becoming a top ten hit. 

In 1985, Sheila E. was among the stars to perform on the groundbreaking famine relief song 'We Are The World'. She can be seen in the Netflix documentary 'Greatest Night in Pop' discussing her participation in the song. 

 Sheila E. will play a free outdoor show at Albany's Empire State Plaza as part of the Capital Concert Series on Wednesday, July 17. Show time is 5pm.
