The annual Santa Speedo Sprint returns for 2024
It's a scene to be seen: Hundreds running up and down Albany's Lark Street while leaving very little to the imagination. The 19th annual Santa Speedo Sprint has been announced for 2024.
Individual runners and teams are invited to sign up for the event, which takes place on Saturday, December 14th. Registration begins at 11am at Oh Bar and The Lionheart, with the run stepping off at 2pm. The first 175 who register get a commemorative t-shirt at the event.
Do you have to wear a speedo? No. As you can see in the video below, revelers wear all kinds of costumes and enjoy a festive day in Albany.
The annual fun run benefits the Albany Damien Center and the HIV/AIDS program at Albany Med.
