The 24th Annual Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region Radiothon, presented by Your Upstate Chevy Dealers, kicked off this morning in a big way with donations topping $46,691 or 311 nights of comfort by 10a. During this special two-day event that continues through tomorrow, Saturday, January 25th, Albany Broadcasting radio stations join forces to raise funds to provide 1,000 nights of comfort and hope at the House That Love Built. With each night costing the house $150 they will attempt to raise $150,000 for families of children battling critical illnesses in the Capital Region. Tune in to B95.5, FLY92.3, 100.9 The Cat, JAMZ 96.3, MAGIC 590 AM/100.5 FM and Big Country 104.9/97.9 as radiothon features heartwarming stories about how the Ronald McDonald House has made a lasting impact on local families, all made possible by the generous donations from the community.
