Hope 7 Community Center will hold a prom dress giveaway.

Prom night is meant to be an unforgettable memory for all that are able to attend. One of the biggest issues that people face is the price of everything that is included in that night. The dresses, the tuxes and or suits, the accessories and of course transportation.

Hope 7 Community Center in Troy is going to do all that they can to help make it affordable for everyone. The community center will actually be holding a prom dress "giveaway" in April. Any high schooler in The Capital Region can take part in this "giveaway". All they have to do is bring their school I.D. with them and they will be able to pick out their dress, their handbag, shoes, accessories and even more.

Hope 7 Community Center is currently looking for donations for this fantastic event. If you have items that you think would be perfect for this, gently used formal dresses, a handbag, jewelry, shoes or anything else I might have left out, you are asked to drop them off at the center which is located at 596 Pawling Ave. in Troy.
