More than 20 were injured.
Today was supposed to be a day of celebration in Kansas City for the Chiefs Super Bowl Parade. Unfortunately it quickly turned to tragedy and chaos as shots were fired and over 20 people were injured. One fatality was reported as well.
Two armed men were taken into custody.
Capt. Jake Becchina, a spokesperson for the Kansas City Police Department, told the Kansas City Star -
“At the conclusion of the rally there were shots fired west of Union Station near the garage and several people were struck,”
