Dave stopped by The Murphy's home in Troy to review their homemade pizza.
We all know Dave Portnoy as the person behind Barstool Sports. We also know that his One Bite pizza reviews are probably what he's most famous for!
Well, over the Summer, Dave stopped by the home of Derek Murphy's family to review their homemade pizzas. Why did he stop by there? Derek was a major fan of both Barstool and Michigan University (Dave's favorite college football team). Unfortunately, Derek passed away earlier this year after his lifelong battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. One of Derek's wishes was to meet Dave, which he was able to do through Facetime back in January. One of his other wishes was to have Dave come to their backyard bar called "Fookin Murphy's" and review his Dads pizza.
Not only did Dave stop by the house to review the pizza but he was also able to get some insight as to the type of person Derek was.
