The craft went down Friday afternoon
Update 2:28pm: NewsChannel 13 says the plane was on its way to Bennington when the pilot reported the aircraft was icing up. As weather conditions got worse, he landed on the Thruway.
Update 2:26pm: News 10 says three people were on board the small airplane, however no injuries were reported
Information is still coming in, but a small plane landed on the Thruway in Albany just south of Exit 23. Emergency crews and first responders are on the scene. The plane can be seen off to the side of the road while traffic is down to one lane. More as we get it. NewsChannel 13 has a live video feed of the area.
