In a Facebook post, the owners of Powers Inn and Pub in Halfmoon announced the popular restaurant is now closed for good.
After 15 years, with many great memories and much loss, we have made a hard decision.
The restaurant is now closed.
We will continue events and catering at The Barn at Power’s. The Barn remains open and is booking events through 2027.
Thank you. Many of you have become close friends. Until our last pint.

The owners had hoped to keep it open though Saturday, but said their keg cooler had just died, making Thursday their last day in business.
In May, the restaurant and property were listed for sale at $1.85 million, though no word on if a new buyer or operator will be taking it over. The Barn at Powers Pub, which doubles as a catering hall, will continue to operate through 2027 for events.
The historic building dates back to the 1700s and has been home to a number of restaurants including the Old Dater Tavern and The Old Dublin Inn.
