60's Spectacular - Ron Dante

 

Ron Dante is one of the most recognizable voices of the late-’60s pop era, best known as the lead singer of The Archies. The group scored a string of massive hits, including the No. 1 smash “Sugar, Sugar,” along with “Jingle Jangle,” “Bang-Shang-A-Lang” and “Everything’s Alright.”

Dante’s career goes well beyond The Archies. He was also a successful record producer, songwriter and arranger, working behind the scenes with artists including Barry Manilow and The Cuff Links. As a producer, he helped create some of the biggest pop records of the era.

Today, Ron Dante continues to perform and celebrate the music that made him a fixture of the 1960s pop scene, bringing the hits, harmonies and unmistakable sound of The Archies to audiences everywhere.
