60's Spectacular - 1910 Fruitgum Company
Get ready for a trip back to the colorful days of late-’60s bubblegum pop with the 1910 Fruitgum Company! Formed in Linden, New Jersey, the group burst onto the charts in 1968 with the infectious hit “Simon Says,” which climbed to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
They followed with a string of memorable hits, including “1, 2, 3 Red Light,” “Goody Goody Gumdrops,” "Simon Says," “Special Delivery” and “The Train.”
After the original group disbanded in 1970, the 1910 Fruitgum Company eventually returned to the stage, with original member Frank Jeckell helping bring the band back together in 1999. Today, the group continues to perform the songs that helped define the fun, upbeat sound of the bubblegum era.
