Lab Grown Cotton Uses 80% Less Water

Cotton traditionally needs a lot of water to be grown, and this new process uses 80% less water than traditional cotton! Because it's grown in a lab, there’s no need for pesticides or insecticides, and it can be grown year round, keeping costs down and yields predictable. This could also allow cotton to be grown in new places.
