Taco Bell is planning two new restaurants in the area, both in Schenectady County. The Glenville Planning and Zoning Commission approved the new Taco Bell to at 122 Freeman's Bridge Road where it will be built on a currently vacant parcel.

The other location is in the City of Schenectady at 2035 State Street, where a current restaurant sits. That building will be razed to build the new Taco Bell.

Both restaurants will have a drive-thru option. Expected hours for each are 7am-1am. The exact opening date for the restaurants are not yet known, but construction is expected to begin within the next few months.
