TRAFFIC ALERT: Accident Closes Busy Clifton Park Road

Update 5:01pm: Police say the road is expected to reopen before 6pm.
Update 4:56pm: The Saratoga County Sheriffs Office issued a statement saying the driver of the motorcycle, 53 year old Jeffrey Gabel, died from his injuries sustained in the accident.
An accident involving a motorcycle has Route 146 in Clifton Park closed between Vischer Ferry Road and Denim Drive. Saratoga County Sheriffs say the motorcyclist was severely injured and taken to Ellis Hospital.
According to 511ny.org, the accident occurred before 1pm. CBS 6 reports a crash reconstruction team is on the scene. As of 4:15pm the road remains closed.
