When it comes to ticket sales for concerts, things are very different today then they were in 1975. Back in those days you either had to stand in line at a ticket outlet, or keep dialing the phone.
On January 8, 1975, a new record was set, when tickets for three Led Zeppelin shows at Madison Square Garden sole out in just 4 hours. That was a big deal.
