Mexico Public Safety Department Report 9/13/21

ARRESTS:

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 27 year old Mary R. Cooke on Friday, September 10th for a Mexico warrant.

Twenty five year old Shayla Cates arrested for an Audrain County, Mexico and Parole and Probation violation warrants.

27 year old Kyle E. Hammons was arrested yesterday (Sunday) for a Randolph County warrant.

CALLS FOR SERVICE:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, September 10th:

Selling without a business license at 4800 South Clark.

Harassment at the Paris Road apartments.

A stealing or theft on Bassford Drive.

A suspicious person on Sannebeck Drive.

Public Safety went to the following calls for service on Saturday:

Displaying a weapon at the corner of Dorcas and Hendricks.

A domestic physical incident at the West Liberty railroad tracks.

Shoplifting at 4820 South Clark.

Threats on Emmons.

An intoxicated person walking on North Washington.

Stealing or thefts at the Vance Road apartments and on Josephine and at Union.

Mexico Public Safety went to the following calls for service yesterday (Sunday):

A suspicious person on Country Place Court.

A stealing or theft at 4224 South Clark.

Sexual exploitation of a juvenile on North Grand.

Shots fired reported at Latney.

CAR ACCIDENTS:

A 2 car accident on Highway 54 at East Liberty on Thursday, September 9th at 3:39pm.

According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 51 year old Christina A. Grisham of Keokuk, Iowa was stopped at a stop sign and was rear ended by a vehicle driven by 37 year old Jayron D. Heberlein of Quincy, Illinois.

No injuries were reported.

 

A 2 car accident on Teal Lake at South Clark yesterday (Sunday) morning.

According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 26 year old Nicole Pashang of Mexico stopped at the intersection and was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 87 year old Norma Wilburn of Mexico.

Pashang’s stopped her vehicle again due to other vehicles and was rear ended a 2nd time by Wilburn’s vehicle.

No injuries were reported.
