Jay and Ben have been hosting the Morning show since 2001 and are currently proud to enjoy the reign of the longest running morning show in the Capital Region.

Jay Scott:

Jay is a native of Boston, and has lived in the Capital Region since coming from WHYN in Springfield, MA in 1980. Jay has been waking listeners for more than 40 years in the Capital Region with a topical, informative and fun morning show. When Jay’s not on the air, he spends his time with his wife Susan and their furry friends Stella, Rue and Skeeter.
Jay also enjoys spending time with his children and seven grandchildren Kyrah, Sage, Ethan, Sebastien, Aydan, Lizzie and Charlotte.

Some tidbits on me

I always wanted to be in radio ever since I pretended I was Casey Kasem in my parents’ living room in Cobalt, Connecticut when I was ten. The last 18 + years spent as the co-host of the Jay & Ben Show, on what has now become 4 stations, Magic 590 & 100.5 Albany as well as 96.9 and 1410 for our listeners in the Glens Falls, Queensbury, South Glens Falls and the Lake George Region. You can also hear me on the Capital Region’s Oldies Station, weekdays from 10am to noon.

I have lived in Hoosick Falls since December of 1988 and although I currently live in New York, I am a Red Sox Fan. However, I am also a Giants, Knicks (Ouch) and Carolina Hurricanes (old Hartford Whalers) fan… Go figure!

My wife Laurie and I have been married since December of 1983 and we have 2 children. My Daughter Amanda and son-in-law Andy live in Cohoes, with our Grand Cat Pumpkin. My son Brett and Daughter-in-law Selena live in Duluth Georgia with our Grand Dog Terra.
