A tradition where thousands line the streets as bagpipes, dancers and floats take over downtown. This year’s festivities will take place on Saturday March 11th. 2023 is the 72nd year for the annual celebration.
The day kicks off at 9am with a St. Patrick’s Day mass at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament on Central Ave. Immediately following the mass is a special Irish breakfast being offered next door at Blessed Sacrament School. In addition, several organizations, bars and restaurants all over downtown will be offering traditional Irish fare and drinks.
The parade itself kicks off at 2pm from the corner of Central and Quail Streets, heading down Central to Washington Avenue, turning at State Street toward City Hall and ending on Pearl Street.
There will be road closures and detours in effect.
