All you need is some cardboard, duck tape a little creativity to take part in the annual Maple Ski Ridge Snow Box Derby. The goal, make a cool sled.
A number of sleds with different themes were part of the fun this past Saturday at the ski hill. Maple Ski Ridge Marketing Director Kirsten Ford told NewsChannel 13 it’s more about the love of winter than anything else:
You don’t have to be a skier you don’t have to be a snowboarder, you just have to enjoy sledding, basically.
Awards were given out for:

- Most Original
- Maple’s Choice
