How Much Show, When It Will Start, When It Will End

Alyssa Caroprese at CBS 6 says about 15 inches below the average for snowfall here in the Capital Region, but we’ll start closing that gap Monday night into Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for much of the area into Tuesday evening. Snow is expected to begin late Monday night and carry into the Tuesday morning commute, making for a challenging ride to work.

Monday night could see 3-5 inches with an additional 1-3 inches on Tuesday. Snow will end Tuesday afternoon, but there could be some gusty winds and blowing snow causing visibility problems while driving.

And it’s not over… another chance for significant snow could happen this Friday into Saturday. More to come.
