Perhaps the most famous Christmas Tree in the world will be on display soon in New York City. This year’s Holiday Tree at Rockefeller Center will make its way to the Big Apple from Queensbury.
The tree is a Norway Spruce and stands 82 feet tall. It will come from the property of the Lebowitz family. They estimate the tree is between 85 and 90 years old.
On Thursday November 10th, the tree will be cut down and taken to Rockefeller Center, it’s expected to arrive that Saturday.
The official tree lighting will be held on November 30th and will be on display through the beginning of January.
