A Bruce Springsteen museum and exhibition space is moving into Freehold, New Jersey. The Freehold firehouse, which will be renovated, will hold the Springsteen artifacts, photographs, multimedia displays of voice, film, concert footage, interviews and interactive displays. The Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University are collaborating on the venue. The Fire Department building, which is no longer “adequate for the borough’s fire safety needs” will be relocated. What rocker deserves a museum?
